Here at the Inn at Gothic Eves we’re getting into the spooky spirit of Halloween, but we’re not the only ones. Come to the Cayuga Lake area during this eeriest of 2014 seasons and from the littlest monsters to grandparents, there’s an event that will trick or treat you.
Downtown Ithaca hosts its 2014 Halloween Parade on October 30 and everyone is invited to join in the fun. Walk the route and trick-or-treat in businesses along the way. Live music, hot cider and chili all add to the festiveness.

If you prefer a sip-and-savor night to a haunting one, don your best scare clothes and head out to the country and Americana Vineyards Winery for their 12th annual Hallo-wine Spooktacular. You might just win the costume contest! A night of dancing, made-from-scratch treats from the winery’s own Crystal Lake Café, and a tasting of Americana’s new Lemberger wine are included in the evening, which costs just $15/person.
