Finger Lakes Simply Red Lakeside Bistro is in the News Again.

Chef Sam Izzo is in the Democrat and Chronicle Rochester newspaper telling the whole Sam Izzo Story. She has quite a history traveling all over the US after coming from South Africa.

Most of you know the story of her and Gary coming to the Inn to find a place to stay for their guests attending their wedding before they lived in Trumansburg. We spoke for a long time and when I found out that she was a chef, I told her we needed a restaurant in our village. The idea was planted so the lease sign in the village cafe window was all she needed to get the ball rolling. The rest is history.

Don’t fret about Sam not being in Trumansburg anymore, she is the catering Chef for all of all events at the Inn. Just call and schedule an event and enjoy her wonderful food served to you at the Inn.
