On Friday, Sept. 24, the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, located on the Cornell University campus in Ithaca, will present “An Elegant Evening,” a celebration of the exhibition “Tarjama/Translation: Contemporary Art from the Middle East, Central Asia, and Their Diasporas.” The event will feature exhibit tours by led by Curator Leeza Ahmady and poetry readings, as well as Middle Eastern foods from Aladdin’s Natural Eatery. Begins at 6 p.m.
