Fall Finger Lakes Events Near My Upstate New York B&B

Fall is a great time to visit Trumansburg!  Leaves begin turning in late September, the air gets crisp in the mornings, and the heat finally takes a hike!  The air smells magically of grapes as all of the wineries prepare for harvest season (don’t go home without trying a grape pie: a specialty in the Finger Lakes Region)!  Some believe that autumn is the perfect time to spend outside here, as this is truly one of the most beautiful seasons:  take walks among the kaleidoscope of colored leaves seeing the natural geological beauty and waterfalls, and attending the great fall festivals in the area.

In preparation for your Finger Lakes inn getaway, consider The Inn at Gothic Eves for your B and B lodging when you attend the area festivals through early November (before the Christmas Season begins) below.

Winery Events along the Cayuga Wine Trail and Seneca Lake Wine Trail
While a few, more publicized events are listed below, most wineries do have small events and specials throughout harvest season in celebration of bringing in the bounty of what will become their wines in the upcoming year!  Just ask, and I’ll fill you in on the best options!

Farmer’s Markets
Featuring the area’s bounty, the markets are open until Thanksgiving.  During the fall you can find wreaths, pumpkins, gourds, and many of the ingredients needed to prepare your favorite fall treats and decorate around the home!
