The Inn at Gothic Eves has many flower gardens. I am adding annuals early this year due to the unseasonably warm spring. I try to take advantage of this warmth because there is usually a lot of rain as well. This allows me to get my annuals in early and not have to water much. This year, the Inn is getting the warmth without the rain. This past weekend had forecasted two days of rain showers and it never rained. So consequently, I am watering everyday. The perennials are plentiful and pictured are a few of the them.
The Solomon Seal is blooming here in the colonial garden between the two houses. Also the Irises next to the Smokehouse are also blooming and smell like candy. Perennial Bachelor’s Button, Siberian Irises, Forget-Me-Nots, Star of Bethlehem, and Magnolia are also blooming. The yard looks so beautiful with the lime green of the plants mixing with all of the whites and purples.
Why not come see for yourself?
