Bacon in all its salty, scrumptious glory is celebrated in the Finger Lakes first ever Bacon on the Lakin, March 21-22, 2015, sponsored by WQNY 103.7 . And if the lure of crispy bacon isn’t enough to tempt you, an array of top wines from 17 local wineries makes the fest nearly irresistible. So, while some may write about the orange groves of Florida as the place to be this season, we at the Inn at Gothic Eves say, bring on the bacon and wine!
Bacon on the Lakin

Each participant will receive a souvenir stemless wineglass at the first winery visited, and recipe cards at each of the wineries for the dishes that are sampled. A complimentary wine is paired with each dish, and visitors can also taste up to three more additional wines at each stop.
As part of the festivities, stubs from each winery ticket can be deposited into a Cayuga Lake Wine Trail Piggy Bank for a chance to win a BBQ-themed gift basket, including sauce, utensils and much more.
